India tuition — FAQs

Do you teach the Indian syllabus or a UK syllabus?

Lessons follow the student's own board and textbooks — CBSE, ICSE/ISC and selected State Boards — not a UK syllabus. We map every lesson to the current syllabus, chapter structure and exam pattern the student faces at school, while bringing the personalised, concept-first teaching style we use with UK students.

How do lesson timings work between the UK and India?

India is 4.5–5.5 hours ahead of the UK, which works beautifully: after-school and evening slots in India (4pm–9pm IST) fall in the UK late morning and afternoon. We agree a fixed weekly slot so lessons become part of the routine.

Which classes and subjects do you cover?

Classes 1–10: Mathematics, Science, Computer Science and Information Technology. Classes 11–12: Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics Practices and Programming Fundamentals. Board exam preparation for Class 10 and Class 12 is a particular focus.

How are fees paid from India?

Payment is simple by international card or bank transfer, and we'll confirm current rates in rupees or pounds when you enquire. The first discussion — where we assess level, goals and confidence — is always free.
