Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
We keep this simple and honest: what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Mostak Services (“we”, “us”) provides website development, bespoke software, networking support, software testing and tutoring services, and operates this website at https://mostak.co.uk. We are based in the United Kingdom and act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Contact for anything privacy-related: info@mostak.co.uk or +44 7557 470771.
2. What we collect and why
Enquiries you send us
When you use our contact form, email us, call, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use this to reply to you, provide quotes, arrange lessons or services, and keep a record of our correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where you become a client, the performance of a contract.
Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms, which transmits your message to our inbox and does not use your data for its own purposes.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device type and how you found us. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors.
Session insights — Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site through heatmaps and session replays (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and page interactions). Clarity masks sensitive input content and sets cookies to recognise repeat visits. We use this to improve usability, fix problems and make the site clearer. For more detail see the Microsoft Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab).
The legal basis for analytics and session insights is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website. You can opt out at any time — see section 4.
3. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work:
- Google LLC — Google Analytics (analytics cookies and usage data).
- Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replay).
- Web3Forms — contact form delivery to our inbox.
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — only if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK (for example in the United States). Where that happens, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
4. Cookies and how to opt out
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for the purposes described above. It does not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies in several ways:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (all major browsers allow this per-site or globally).
- Install Google's official Analytics opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab).
- Use your browser's private/incognito mode, which discards cookies when the window closes.
5. How long we keep data
- Enquiry emails and messages — for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any ongoing client relationship, after which they are deleted.
- Analytics data — retained according to Google's and Microsoft's standard retention periods, and held in aggregated form thereafter.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to or restrict our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email info@mostak.co.uk — we respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
7. Children
Our tutoring services are arranged by parents, guardians or adult students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website; enquiries about a child's tuition should be made by a parent or guardian.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data — for example by adding a new tool — we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
